FreshStart – A Do Good On Purpose Initiative Program

FreshStart is a compassionate and community-focused initiative by Do Good On Purpose, created to support individuals and families facing homelessness, hunger, unemployment, and barriers to health and wellness.

Through targeted programs and hands-on support, FreshStart helps people move from crisis to stability—one step at a time.

We provide more than basic survival—we offer a path to long-term healing, stability, and purpose.

What FreshStart Offers

Each component of FreshStart is built to address a core challenge faced by those in crisis.

Here’s what we provide:

🥣 Harvest Soup & Salad Café (Mobile Meals)

We deliver fresh, healthy meals directly to individuals and families experiencing hunger and homelessness. No barriers, no judgment—just nourishing food and compassion.

🧠 Wellness & Mental Health Support

We offer referrals and partnerships with local organizations that provide mental health care, substance use recovery, and emotional wellness services to support holistic healing.

✨ Moments of Dignity

As part of our FreshStart Community Events, we offer small but powerful acts of care—like haircuts, hygiene kits, and clothing access—that help restore a sense of dignity and self-worth during times of hardship.

🏠 Transitional Housing – Starter Village & Good Samaritan Villages

Our transitional housing programs provide safe, temporary living environments that support residents as they work toward permanent stability and independence.

💼 Jobs for Hire Program

This employment readiness program connects participants with job training, resume support, and placement opportunities to help build financial independence and career momentum.

👥 Personalized Case Management

Every participant partners with a FreshStart case manager to create an Individualized Goal Plan (IGP), tracking progress toward housing, employment, health, and self-sufficiency.
