Tiny Home Villages

FINDING HOME, FINDING PURPOSE

A Place to Call Home

At Do Good On Purpose, we believe that everyone deserves a safe, secure, and supportive place to call home.

Our tiny home villages are designed to provide just that—a welcoming environment where individuals can rebuild their lives and find a renewed sense of purpose.

Our Tiny Homes

Our tiny homes are manufactured by Permanent Party Homes, a facility operated by US military veterans.

These homes are more than just a shelter; they are a testament to quality craftsmanship and the resilience of those who build them.

Each home is designed to be:

  • Comfortable: Thoughtfully designed interiors ensure a cozy and inviting living space.

  • Durable: Built with high-quality materials to withstand the elements and provide long-term stability.

  • Sustainable: Equipped with features that promote eco-friendly living and reduce environmental impact.

Village Life

Living in our tiny home villages means becoming part of a supportive and vibrant community.

Located in urban areas, our villages ensure easy access to essential services such as healthcare, employment opportunities, and public transportation.

Community Center

At the heart of each village is the community center, a hub for social interaction, support, and resources.

The community center includes:

  • Commercial Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen where residents can prepare meals, learn about nutrition, and participate in communal cooking activities.

  • Laundry Room: Convenient laundry facilities to ensure residents have access to clean clothes and linens.

  • Meeting Spaces: Comfortable meeting rooms for workshops, group meetings, and social gatherings, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.

  • Offices for Support Staff: Spaces where our dedicated support staff can provide personalized assistance, counseling, and case management to residents.

Communal Gardening

Our villages feature communal gardens where residents can engage in gardening activities.

These gardens not only provide fresh produce but also offer therapeutic benefits, teaching valuable skills and fostering a sense of responsibility and connection to nature.

Engaging Activities

Residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of communal activities designed to build bonds, enhance skills, and promote well-being.

Activities may include:

  • Workshops: Life skills workshops covering topics such as budgeting, job readiness, and conflict resolution.

  • Social Events: Community gatherings, potlucks, and celebrations that bring residents together and strengthen community ties.

  • Fitness and Wellness: Group exercise classes, mindfulness sessions, and health education to support physical and mental well-being.

Supportive Environment

Our tiny home villages are drug-free environments with a zero-tolerance policy for substance abuse.

This ensures a safe and healthy space for all residents to focus on their recovery and personal growth.

Regular check-ins with project managers and random drug tests help maintain this supportive atmosphere.

Pathway to Homeownership

The tiny home village is not just a place to stay; it's a step towards permanent homeownership.

Residents participate in our structured volunteer program, earning "mortgage credits" through community service.

This journey from the starter village to tiny home ownership fosters a deep sense of accomplishment and stability.
