At Do Good On Purpose, housing is the first step — but stability comes through accountability, growth, and community.
Step 1: The From Here Onward Shelter
The first step in our intake process, offering safe, temporary housing and orientation for adults experiencing homelessness. Here, guests receive support, screenings, and preparation to enter the Starter Village and begin their path toward stability and homeownership.
Step 2: Starter Village
Up to 6 months in supportive transitional housing. Build stability through community service, food security programs, and employment readiness.
Step 3: Good Samaritan Villages
Move into a tiny home built by Permanent Party Homes (veteran-operated). By volunteering 10-15 hours per week with approved local charities, participants earn 2,000+ mortgage credits. Once complete, the deed to the tiny home is theirs.
👉 Important: Once the tiny home is deeded, residents relocate their tiny home into the wider community — carrying stability forward.
Every participant receives continuous support throughout the program:
Case Management – one-on-one guidance and accountability
Mental Health & Wellness Screenings – mandatory and ongoing
Life Skills Training – budgeting, communication, daily living
Harvest Business Academy – training to become a self-supporting
entrepreneurial business owner
Empowerment Through Employment – job placement and skill-building programs
Drug- and Alcohol-Free Community – random testing and zero-tolerance policy
Your Time Can Change a Life
When you volunteer, you’re not just “helping out” — you’re part of the reason someone earns their home.
