Starter Village provides:
A secure, shared one-room unit (8' x 10') with locking door.
Access to private showers and restrooms, and laundry.
A community center with meals, support staff, and meeting rooms.
A drug- and alcohol-free environment to rebuild your life.
Job placement and business development.
An opportunity to progress to homeownership.
Your Path to Tiny Homeownership
Our program is designed to help you get safe now — and then build toward owning a permanent home.
Step 1. The From Here Onward Homeless Shelter – Immediate, safe housing with orientation, screenings, and help securing documents.
Step 2. Starter Village – Up to 6 months in a supportive pod community while volunteering 10–15 hours per week and rebuilding stability.
Step 3. Good Samaritan Village - Move into your tiny home, volunteer 21 hours per week, and earn 2,100 credits in 2 years to receive your deed.
